I am warm, empathetic, and easy to talk to. I move through the journey of life with a sense of openness and wonder, embracing its diverse experiences with genuine curiosity and graceful enthusiasm.
I am proficient in both IsiZulu and English, and can comfortably engage in conversations in various South African languages, including Sesotho, IsiXhosa, Siswati, and IsiNdebele.
My experience with therapy has its roots in my own struggles and life challenges, including difficult relationships, health setbacks, coping with loss, and recognizing the importance of not only understanding the origins of my distress but also addressing it with kindness and openness to ultimately rise above it.
I have experience collaborating with clients presenting an array of emotional and psychological challenges.
My background includes specialized training in areas like racism, grief stemming from miscarriages, divorce, job loss, identity crises, and various life transitions.
Furthermore, I have undergone training in the Black Empathic Approach, which has significantly enriched my understanding and approach to support and guide individuals through the complexities of life in a multicultural society.
As a result, I feel better equipped to provide holistic and compassionate support to my clients.
